Assalamu Alaikum,
As you know, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is essential that we all follow public health guidelines to stay at home and socially distance. Accordingly, Eid United will not be able to host Eid prayers at the end of Ramadan this year. However, Eid United is preparing a high quality and robust series of online, virtual Islamic programming this Ramadan to meet the spiritual needs of our diverse Muslim community inshaAllah. Eid United presents Ramadan United:
In addition, Eid United plans to distribute Iftar and raise charitable donations (Zakat and Sadaqa) for the needy, in particular those who have been laid off from their jobs, and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for frontline healthcare workers inshaAllah.
Eid United is committed to serving our community now more than ever. This is a massive undertaking in a short amount of time, and we are humbly asking for your support to make this vision a reality. If you have attended our Eid events in the past and enjoyed them with your families, if you hope to do so in the future, or if you believe in our mission of uniting and serving our local Muslim community, please support us by donating to Eid United. You can also donate to Eid United on Facebook or on the Feeling Blessed app.
Please also share this message with your friends and spread the word. We are grateful for your support as we adapt to these unprecedented times.
May Allah swt protect you and your loved ones and bless you this Ramadan.
JazakAllahu Khairan.
